AR 670-1: 20-25. Scarves

Quick Answer

Scarves are optional purchase items in wool, silk, or rayon, approximately 12 by 52 inches. The black scarf is worn with cold weather utility coats, the black all-weather coat, and ECWCS. The white scarf is worn with the ceremonial blue overcoat. A heritage green scarf is authorized with the AGSU all-weather coat.
