AR 670-1, Para 3-4: Wear of Jewelry
Soldiers may wear a wristwatch, a wrist identification bracelet, and a total of two rings (a wedding set is considered one ring) with Army uniforms, unless prohibited by the commander for safety or health reasons.
Jewelry restrictions:
• Rings: a total of two rings (a wedding set counts as one ring)
• Necklaces: authorized but must not be visible when wearing the uniform
• Bracelets: one identification bracelet and one POW/MIA bracelet authorized
• Earrings: females may wear small, spherical, conservative earrings (gold, silver, or diamond; no larger than 6mm)
• Males are not authorized to wear earrings when on duty or in uniform
• Body piercing: no visible body piercing jewelry when in uniform
