AR 670-1: Combat and Service Boots
Combat boots worn with the OCP uniform will be tan (coyote) 499. Boots will be made of leather, synthetic leather, or a combination of both. Optional footwear includes jungle boots and GORE-TEX® boots.
Boot requirements:
• 8 to 10 inches in height
• Plain toe (steel toes only when required for safety)
• Coyote tan 499 color for OCP
• Black for service uniforms
• Soles will be of a rubber sole design
• Boots will be laced with tan or tan/coyote 499 laces
Service uniform boots (ASU/AGSU):
• Black leather oxford shoes or black leather boots
• High gloss finish authorized
