Enlisted soldiers in CMF 92 who hold food service MOSs wear the food service utility uniform on duty, when prescribed by the commander. The food service utility uniforms are not authorized for travel or for wear off military installations, except in transit between an individualâs quarters and duty station. The commander may authorize food service personnel to wear these uniforms off post when providing support for activities in the civilian community, such as parades or ceremonies. (See para 2â6c for other exceptions to this policy.) These uniforms are worn only in garrison and are not authorized for wear in the field.
